Shang Ru Tsai

He is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Taipei, Taiwan. His creative work covers key visuals for music events and films, album packaging, physical and digital publications, as well as brand and exhibition identities.

In illustration, he uses compositional tension, contrasts between clarity and blur, and rich textures to show a rational sensibility within a restrained image, capturing the emotion of a scene.

His work has received recognition from international awards, including Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, 3x3, Booooooom Illustration Awards, and IlloBoom!.

插畫家、平面設計師居住於台北。創作領域涵蓋了音樂演出及影視主視覺設計、專輯裝幀、實體和線上出版，亦涉略品牌與展覽的視覺識別。

插畫作品擅長藉由畫面構圖的張力、朦朧與清晰的對比，以及豐富的肌理層次，在克制的畫面中展現理智的感性，捕捉場景情緒。

作品亦獲得 Communication Art、Society of Illustrator、3x3 International Illustration Show、 Booooooom Illustration Awards、IlloBoom! 等國際插畫獎項肯定。
